STWA Finalizing Proposal to Test Prototype Based on Its Applied Oil Technology (AOT)™

Testing to Simulate Real World Conditions Using 4.5 Mile Oil Pipeline Located in Northwestern United States

SANTA BARBARA, CA--(Marketwire - July 1, 2010) -  Save the World Air, Inc. (OTCBB: ZERO) ("STWA or the "Company"), an innovative pioneer in the clean technology industry focused on energy efficiency and air quality issues, announced today that it is finalizing a proposal to test a product prototype. The prototype will be based on STWA's AOT™ technology for providing supplemental viscosity reduction and will be tested on an active 4.5 mile oil pipeline in the Northwestern United States.

Laboratory research has shown that AOT™ requires approximately ten times less energy than existing heating and chemical additive treatments, and has the potential to reduce viscosity of crude oil by up to 50% while reducing the need for costly chemicals, diluents and Drag Reducing Agents (DRA), which remains a key consideration in environmentally sensitive areas. Ultimately, AOT™ is a ground breaking technology for petrochemical delivery systems worldwide.

"A field prototype AOT™ device tested on a live oil pipeline under real world conditions will allow us to endure the parameters necessary to determine the exact value AOT™ presents to the petroleum industry," said Mr. Cecil Bond Kyte, Chairman and CEO of Save The World Air, Inc. "By utilizing an existing production pipeline, we will be able to capture the most relevant empirical data to judge the value of AOT™ based on the indices of crude oil. Simultaneously, protocols and design prototypes are being implemented as we look forward to conducting AOT™ technology testing shortly to effect a major advancement in technology for this industry."
